Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

The post is open only for serving officers of Central/State Governments, PSUs, Universities, or Autonomous Bodies. The following criteria apply:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Soil and Water Conservation Engineering from a recognized University; OR
  • Post Graduate Degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Environment, Geo-technical, Water Resources, Hydraulics Development or Irrigation Water Development.
• Service & Experience:
  • Holding analogous post on regular basis OR 5 years service in Level-12 after regular appointment.
  • Minimum 12 years experience in water conservation, water management, planning of irrigated agriculture, or on-farm development work in relevant departments (Irrigation, Agriculture, Agricultural University, or Water Engineering Services).
• Age Limit: Maximum 56 years as on the closing date of application.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Screening: The Selection Committee will assess the bio-data, educational certificates, and work experience records submitted by the candidate.
2. Final Selection: Based on the assessment of eligibility and experience by the Selection Committee.
3. Note: Candidates are requested to forward applications only through their cadre controlling authority. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.

• Application countersigned and sealed by the Employer/Controlling Authority.
• Self-attested copies of degrees, mark sheets, and experience certificates.
• Attested copies of APARs for the last 5 years.
• Certificates regarding Integrity, Vigilance Clearance, and absence of major/minor penalties.
