The National Cooperative Development Corporation invites applications from willing and eligible individuals for engagement as Consultants on full-time contract basis on a monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs.75,000/- p.m., initially for a period of one year, having

1. Post Name: Consultant

2. Master Degree in Fisheries Science or Aquaculture or Zoology with specialization in Fisheries or Marine Biology or Industrial Fisheries or Aquaculture Engineering.

ii. Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of formulation or implementation of Schemes or Projects in Aquaculture or Mari culture activities or Fisheries Post Harvest processing and value addition or Fisheries Trade or Research in Fisheries or Aquaculture with required knowledge of IT proficiency.

iii. Experience of working with Fisheries Cooperatives/Federations/Farmer Producer Organizations will be added advantage.

3. Remuneration:

i. Remuneration of Rs.75,000/- per month (consolidated) will be paid to the Consultant on full-time contract basis.

ii. Consultant shall not be entitled to any allowance such as DA, transport facility, residential accommodation, medical reimbursement, telephone etc.

iii. Travelling allowance on tour, if any, shall be as per the entitlement of the person before retirement, not exceeding the scales / level of pay defined by the Government of India for the levels.

4. Engagement:

The engagement of a Consultant (full-time) will be purely on contract basis and will not confer any right for regular appointment in NCDC or in its associated organisations. The contract would initially be for a maximum period of one year and may be further extended on year-to-year basis, subject to functional requirements, appraisal of performance and medical fitness of the individual.
