Sub: Recruitment of 02 Junior Project Fellows (JPFs) for the PAC Programme titled 'Development of Supplementary Reading material in Hindi, English, Urdu and Sanskrit' (PAC Code. 2.11) The Department of Education in Languages (DEL) invites applications to recruit 02 Junior Project Fellows on temporary basis to work on the project mentioned above. The terms and conditions of the fellowship are as below:
1. Position: Junior Project Fellows (JPFs)
2. No of Post: 02
3. Qualification Essential: Master's Degree in English/ Hindi with at least 55% marks or equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) Computer literacy: should be able to work on computer in Hindi and English
4. Desirable: B.El.Ed/ B.Ed./M.Ed. NET qualified from UGC, however, non NET candidates may also apply
5. Tenure: Upto 10 months from the date of joining or 31 March, 2023 (whichever is earlier)
6. Value of Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. (Consolidated and fixed for NET qualified), Rs. 23,000/- p.m. (Consolidated and fixed for NON-NET)

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
1. The walk-in-interview will be held on May 10, 2022 (Tuesday) in Department of Education in Languages, Room No. 17, 2nd Floor, Janaki Ammal Khand, NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi 110 016. The registration of eligible candidates will be done from 9.30AM to 11.00 AM only. The candidates may contact the office in Room 11.
2. Candidates must bring their bio data along with self attested photocopy of each certificate and one photograph and other related documents at the time of interview. Candidates are also directed to bring the original certificates/testimonials for verification at the time of interview.

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an autonomous organisation set up in 1961 by the Government of India to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on policies and programmes for qualitative improvement in school education. The major objectives of NCERT and its constituent units are to: undertake, promote and coordinate research in areas related to school education; prepare and publish model textbooks, supplementary material, newsletters, journals and develops educational kits, multimedia digital materials, etc. organise pre-service and in-service training of teachers; develop and disseminate innovative educational techniques and practices;collaborate and network with state educational departments, universities, NGOs and other educational institutions; act as a clearing house for ideas and information in matters related to school education; and act as a nodal agency for achieving the goals of Universalisation of Elementary Education. In addition to research, development, training, extension, publication and dissemination activities, NCERT is an implementation agency for bilateral cultural exchange programmes with other countries in the field of school education. The NCERT also interacts and works in collaboration with the international organisations, visiting foreign delegations and offers various training facilities to educational personnel from developing countries.
