4. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a First Class (60% marks or above) Master’s Degree from a recognized University along with 3 years of experience in Training/Teaching/Research.

• For Post AD01 (Agricultural Extension/Economics):
  • Master’s Degree in Agricultural Extension/Agricultural Economics.
  • Experience: 3 years in the concerned field.
  • Desirable: Ph.D in relevant subjects.
• For Post AD02 (Agri-Business/HRM):
  • Master’s Degree in Agri-Business Management/ Human Resource Management.
  • Experience: 3 years in the concerned field.
  • Desirable: Ph.D in relevant subjects.
• For Post AD03 (Agricultural Extension):
  • Master’s Degree in Agricultural Extension.
  • Experience: 3 years in the concerned field.
  • Desirable: Ph.D in relevant subjects.

Age Limit

• As on: 01/01/2026
• General: Not exceeding 35 years.
• ST Reservation (Post AD01): Up to 40 years.
• Government Servants: Up to 40 years (as per GoI rules).
• Age Relaxation: Applicable for PwBD (40% or more), Ex-Servicemen, Widows/Divorced Women as per GoI rules.

5. Examination Structure & Selection Process

The selection is based on a Two-Stage Competitive Examination.

Stage-I: Written Examination (Objective Type)

• Mode: Offline/Online (To be specified in admit card)
• Total Marks: 100
• Total Questions: 100
• Duration: To be notified
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks (1/4th) deducted for every wrong answer.

Minimum Qualifying Marks (Stage-I)

• Unreserved (UR): 45%
• ST (Post AD01): 40%
• PwBD Candidates: 40%

Stage-II: Skill Test & Interview

Top 5 candidates (1:5 ratio) from Stage-I will be called for Stage-II.

• Essay Writing: 20 Marks
• Presentation: 10 Marks
• Personal Interview: 20 Marks

Total Selection Marks: 150 (100 Stage-I + 50 Stage-II).

Tie-Breaking Methodology

1. Preference given to candidates with Ph.D (Desirable Qualification).
2. Higher marks in Part-B (Subject Specialization).
3. Older candidates (Date of Birth).
