National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE) Invites Application for Project Technical Officer Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited for the project posts mentioned below from the eligible candidates in the prescribed proforma appended

3. Name of the project: CDC-NCD Project

5. Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Statistics/Biostatistics with five years’ work experience in public health project/health care management from a recognized institution OR Master’s degree in Statistics/Biostatistics from a recognized university.

6. Desirable Qualification and Experience: Knowledge in statistical software including IBM SPSS, Stata. R etc. Experience in handing data management including cleaning, processing and analysis Exoerience in teachina

7. Remuneration: Rs. 32000/- per month (consolidated)

8. Nature of Duties: Interact with scholars in designing studies and supporting in statistical components Handling teaching sessions for the ElS/ FETP NCD/ FETP scholars in bio-statistics including software hands- on Participating in field research activities including field visit Any other work assigned by the EIS/FETP course coordinator

9. Duration 1 Year

Selection Procedure

1. Through Email (Application form along with all supporting documents)

2. Date, time and place of interview will be intimated by Email separately to the eligible candidates.

3. The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under NIE/ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.  TA/DA will not be paid by NIE for attending the written test/interview.
