National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, an Institute of National Importance under Ministry of Education, Government of India invites applications from distinguished academicians of the Institute with the prescribed qualifications to fill up Endowed Chair Professor positions namely "Prof. Sakya Singha Pani Chair Professor" in the department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and "Dipti Ranjan Patnaik Endowed Chair Professor" in the department of Chemical Engineering with additional financial and other benefits out of funds provided by NIT Rourkela Alumni Group (NITRAG), besides other terms and conditions.

3. Essential Qualification : B.Tech., M.Tech. & Ph.D. in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering /Chemical Engineering (as applicable)
4. Pay Scale : Academic Pay Level 14-A of 7th CPC Pay Matrix
5. Essential Requirements : Ten years after Ph.D. or thirteen years total working experience, out of which seven years should be after Ph.D. At least three years at the level of Associate professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9500 or four years at the level of Associate Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9000 or combination of Rs.9000 and Rs.9500 or equivalent in AIT kourkela.
