OPSC APP Eligibility Criteria 2026

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 42 years
• Age relaxation: SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen – 5 years; PwD – 10 years; cumulative up to 15 years.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• At least 2 years of experience as a practicing advocate (with certificate from District & Sessions Judge and Bar Council enrolment).
• Knowledge of Odia – passed Middle School Odia test or Matriculation with Odia subject.

Salary

Pay Level 10: ₹44,900 per month plus DA, HRA, etc. as per ORSP Rules 2017.

OPSC APP Selection Process 2026

The selection consists of three stages: Preliminary Exam (screening), Main Written Exam (600 marks), and Interview (50 marks). Final merit based on Main + Interview (650 marks).

Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer in Prelims.
