Applications are invited from interested meritorious candidates for the position of Senior Research Associate (Postdoctoral) under Aeronautical Development Agency funded research project entitled “Generation of design data for Condenser of Vapour Compression Module (VCM) of AMCA”. The availability of the fund will be for a period of one year. 1. Post Name: Senior Research Associate 2. No of Post: 01 3. Title project: Generation of design data for Condenser of Vapour Compression Module (VCM) of AMCA 4. Qualification: PhD 5. Fellowship (Rs Per month): 42000+HRA 6. Department/ Centre: Department of Mechanical Engineering 7. Tenure of the Project: Up to 30th November 2022 or completion of Project whichever is earlier 8. Qualification and Experience: PhD in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning/Thermal Engineering. Knowledge of ANSYS and FLUENT Packages and Programming Skills (C- Programming/MATLAB) 9. Desirable qualities: i. Candidate must be able to work independently and flexibly and having the following qualities will be desirable. Basic knowledge about laboratory/bench scale work with a technical focus on the basic fundamentals to understand and optimize the process ii. Implementation: Pilot/demonstration scale or the field application projects Sustainability aspects: Financial, social, environmental aspects, models and simulations, theoretical evaluation, potential analysis, decision support tools Excellent analytical and writing skills 10.
