Educational Qualification:
Assistant General Manager (Agriculture):
(i) Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Plantation/ Agriculture Engineering/ Agriculture and Cooperation/Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/Dairy Technology /Food Processing/ Food Processing Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Science/Food Science and Technology from recognized University/Institution.
(ii) Five years' experience in the above fields post acquiring the above educational qualification Desirable: Publication of papers in international journals in the above fields.
Assistant General Manager (Finance):
(i) Post Graduate Degree in Finance/Financial Management/MBA(Finance) from recognized University/Institution OR Having completed Chartered Accountancy from ICAI.
(ii) Five years experience in the above fields post acquiring the above educational qualification.
Assistant Manager (Business Promotion): Bachelor Degree in Foreign Trade/ International Business/ International Trade/ Agriculture Business Management/ Horticulture Business Management/ Agriculture Marketing/Horticulture Marketing/Agronomy/Agricultural Economics from recognized University/Institution.
Pay Scale:
INR
35400-177500/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years.
Selection Procedure: Written Test, Interview.
Application Fee:
(1) For the posts of Assistant General Manager (Agriculture) and Assistant General Manager (Finance): Rs 500/- (Rs Five Hundred only).
(2) For the posts of Assistant Manager (Business Promotion): Rs 300/- (Rs Three Hundred only). Fee is payable by all candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability who are exempted from payment of fee). The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) was established by the Government of India under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act passed by the Parliament in December, 1985. The Act (2 of 1986) came into effect from 13th February, 1986 by a notification issued in the Gazette of India: Extraordinary: Part-II [Sec. 3(ii): 13.2.1986). The Authority replaced the Processed Food Export Promotion Council (PFEPC).
