National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) Invites Application for Senior Developer Recruitment 2022

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has formulated the National Urban Innovation Stack (NUIS) strategy and approach with the vision to unlock urban innovation and promote collaboration across the entire urban ecosystem.  The objective is to create an open digital public good which can enable co-creation and collaboration across the “quadruple helix” of government, industry, academia, and civil society and citizens’ groups in urban India.

1. Post name : Senior Developer

2. Duration : 12 Months - extendable

3. Scope of work: Lead a team of developers in the program team. Support various development duties such as writing code, analyzing data, and contributing to the design and implementation of applications within the platform. Ownership of the tech product customisation support as per the need gathered by the Solutioning team will be the main focus of this role.

4. Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

a) Qualification: BE/B. Tech required.

b) Experience: 6-8 years of experience required; including at least 1 year of experience working with modern architectural construct like Microservices and Rest APIs

c) Experience working with cloud (AWS or Azure)

d) Solution design and architecting capabilities

e) Integration exposure with third-party applications, including wallets and payment gateways, will be an advantage

f) Knowledge of tech stacks like Spring, Spring boot, Java/J2EE, Database - Postgres/RDBMS, Apache Kafka, Elastic Search, NodeJS

g) Should have a fair understanding of JIRA, Git, Maven, Shell script
