The National Law University, Delhi (‘University’) is seeking to engage one consultant - video editor to work on the promotional videos and trailers for mental health and forensic science online courses for Project 39 A. The contract will be for a period of one month. 1. Post Name: Consultant - video editor 2. No of Post: 01 3. Responsibilities: A. Script, edit and produce four 2 minute-long trailers and 2 animation videos of 30 seconds each for mental health and forensic science online courses. B. Review course content and draft the script for the trailers in consultation with the respective teams. C. Add/create illustrations, graphics and music as required for creating promotional videos and trailers for the courses. D. The subtitling of the videos will also be necessary and written transcripts for the footage will be provided 4. Qualifications: A. A professional degree in filmmaking (editing/direction) or experience in directing or editing feature or documentary films. B. Minimum 2 years’ experience in documentary film making and producing video content. C. Expert level proficiency with the relevant Adobe or Apple Softwares, namely - Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and After Effects. D. Expert level proficiency in editing, visualizing, storyboarding and executing a complete video. E. Minimum 2 years of experience of working with sound and music designers to provide a complete soundtrack for the videos. F. Previous experience in film editing for socially relevant topics. G. Previous experience in creating video content for educational purposes is preferable. 5. Compensation: Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and quality of the deliverables. 6. Duration of the Contract: The contract will be for one month.
