Sub: Recruitment Notice to fill up vacancy in the grade of chief Engineer in NTRO on deputation basis. The undersigned is directed to forward the recruitment notice inviting applications to fill up the vacancy in the grade of Chief Engineer in Level - 14 of the Pay Matrix in National Technical Research Organisation on deputation basis. The recruitment notice is also being uploaded in the website ntro.gov.in.

1. Name of the Post: Chief Engineer

2. No. of vacancies: 01 (One)

3. Pay Level in the Pay Matrix (7th CPC) # Level-14 (In addition, Special Allowance @ 20% of Basic Pay will be admissible. No Deputation Duty Allowance will be paid.)

4. The essential eligibility criteria for the aforementioned posts are as under:-

i) Deputation (Civilian Officers): Officers of the Central Government:

a) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

b) with two years of regular service in Level-13A of the pay matrix, or

c) with three years of regular service Level-13 of the pay matrix, and

d) possessing a Bachelor degree in Civil/ Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and fifteen years of experience in planning/ construction / design maintenance in Civil and Technical Industrial structures/ Estate Management and Contract Management.

ii) Deputation (Service Officers):

a) Serving officers of Engineering departments from the Armed Forces holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

b) Brigadier or equivalent with three years regular service in the rank; and

c) possessing a Bachelor degree in Civil / Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering and fifteen years of experience in planning construction design maintenance in Civil and Technical/Industrial structures/Estate Management and Contract Management.
