Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Young Professional-II:
- M.Sc. Fruit Science or PhD in Fruit Science with NET qualification.
- Preference will be given to NET qualified candidates.
- Degree must be completed from an ICAR/UGC recognized University/Institute.
- Desirable: Relevant research experience evidenced from fellowship/associateship/training/other engagements.
- Age Limit: 35 years (Men) and 40 years (Women). Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules.
Job Description & Terms of Engagement
The selected candidate will be responsible for survey data collection, DUS characterization compilation, statistical analysis, preparation of documents/reports, and knowledge of fruit crops and agronomical aspects.
Terms: The engagement is purely on a temporary/contractual basis. It is co-terminus with the project, filling from the date of joining to 11 months or till the grant is available/date of completion of project scheme, whichever is earlier.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- The selection will be based on a Walk-in Interview.
- Lists of eligible and non-eligible candidates along with walk-in interview information will be published on www.nau.in.
- Original certificates will be verified at the time of the interview.
- Candidates must bring 5 copies of their brief bio-data at the time of the interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
