7. Desirable: Doctorate or M.Sc.+ Degree in Life Science or relevant subjects from a recognized university with Research/Teaching8 experience in the relevant subject 2)Working experience in the relevant field.

Selection Procedure
1. Selection committee reserves all rights to change the selection procedure, rules and cancellation of rules.
2. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and further updated about the interview date and timing which will be conducted in the Department of Cardiology, NEIGRIHMS
3. The decision of the selection committee will be final. Selected candidates for the interview and recruited candidates wil be notified on the website (www.neigrihms.gov.in)
How to Apply:
1. Interested candidates may apply by filling up the Application Form attached with this advertisement along with attested copies of all essential documents relating to educational qualifications and experience. Application should be submitted in Room 127, Department of Cardiology, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong. The last date of submission of application will be on or before the 17th of January 2022 before 4pm. No application will be entertained after the last date.
2. Candidates have to mention the name of the post on the envelope SUPERSCRIBING "Application for the post of All post are purely contractual basis. The candidate has no right to claim for regular appointments. Selected candidate will not be eligible for any benefits of pèrmanent employees or any teaching experience.
3. Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4. Candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications, copies of research publication and research experience, identity proof along with two photographs whenever called for an interview.

The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute Of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) stands as a premier super-specialty teaching and referral institute equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Established in 1987 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, it holds the distinction of being the first central government health institution in the North East. As an autonomous body registered under the Meghalaya Societies Act 1983, NEIGRIHMS plays a pivotal role in medical advancement and public welfare.
Institute of National Importance & Excellence
Recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Hon'ble Prime Minister in 2000, NEIGRIHMS is also a unique 'Centre of Excellence' for medical education and human health resource development, a status conferred by Parliament in 2007. Located on a sprawling 273-acre lush green campus in Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, the institute operates a tertiary care hospital and offers graduate, postgraduate, and post-doctoral courses affiliated with the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU).
