Educational Qualification: Graduate in Agriculture/Life Science with MBA Degree with specialization in Rural Management/ Agri-Business Management/ Entrepreneurship Management, from a leading institution with experience in dealing with Agriculture/Food Technology /Biotechnology /life sciences/ engineering startups and prior experience with incubation activity.
Experience: A minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in mentoring projects in the fields of innovations from and for grassroots and incubation.

Selection Procedure
1. Mere fulfilment of the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for interview.
2. Only the candidates short listed by a duly constituted Screening Committee will be called for interview.
3. In case a large number of applications are received for the post, the Screening Committee may limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Committee in this regard will be final. No interim inquiries in this regard will be entertained.

The objectives of the University shall be to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit; to pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people of the hill areas of the North-Eastern region, and, in particular, their intellectual, academic and cultural advancement
North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) was established in the year 1973. NEHU is located in Shillong, Meghalaya. The university has two campuses: Shillong and Tura in Meghalaya. It is the UGC's University with Potential for Excellence (conferred in 2006). NEHU was established as a regional university for the states of northeast India, including Meghalaya, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram, and had given birth to Nagaland University in 1994 and Mizoram University in 2001.
The university has the following schools (departments/centers of studies): School of Physical Science, School of Social Science, School of Life Science, School of Humanities & Education, School of Human & Environmental Science; School of Economics, Management & Information Science; School of Engineering & Technology.
