Odisha Grameen Bank, headquartered at Gandamunda, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar, has issued a notification for the empanelment of Chartered Accountant firms as Stock Auditors. The empanelment will cover the stock audit of accounts having an overall working capital limit (Fund + Non-Fund) of Rs. 1 crore and above.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Organization: The firm of Chartered Accountants (proprietorship/partnership/company) must be registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification practising experience, including at least 2 years of experience in stock audits across different industries or sectors. For firms, the experience of the Senior partners is considered.
• Age Criteria: Individual/Proprietor must be at least 25 years old. At the time of empanelment, the age must not exceed 75 years. For firms, at least one partner should be below 75 years of age.
• Citizenship: The applicant must be an Indian citizen and an income tax assessee.
• Specialised Categories: Registered valuers under Section 34AB of the Wealth Tax Act (fellow/associate member of the Institution of Valuers) may apply for jewellery, precious stones, works of art, etc.
• Disqualification: Auditors blacklisted by any bank, convicted of offences, undischarged insolvents, or currently serving as statutory auditors of the bank are not eligible. A cooling period of 3 years applies to ex-employees of the bank.

Selection Process & Screening Clause
