Recruitment to the posts of Assistant Director of Textiles, Group-B of Odisha Textiles & Sericulture Service (1extile Cadre) under Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department.
For recruitment to 03 (Three) posts of Assistant Director of Textiles, Group-B of Odisha Textiles & Sericulture Service (Textile Cadre) under Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department carrying the pay Rs.44,900/- to 1,42,400/- in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix under the ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness and other Allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time. The type of recruitment is normal.

3. Pay Scale: Rs.44,900/- to 1,42,400/- in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix under the ORSP Rules, 2017
4. Qualification:
A candidate must possess:
(i) Degree in Textile Technology, Spinning and Weaving from a recognised Institution OR
(ii) Degree in Textile Chemistry. OR
(iii)Diploma in Textile Technology/ Handloom Technology from a recognised Institution with minimum practical experience of three years in the spinning/weaving Department of a Textile Mill or Handloom Industry or under the State Government.

Age Limit: A candidate shall not ordinarily be below 21 (twenty one) years and above 38 (thirty eight) years of age as on the 1s day of August, 2022 i.e. he/she must have been born not carlier than 2 August, 1984 and not later than 1st August, 2001.
1. In case of the number of cligible candidates less than fifty, the method of sclection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of Career Marking (50 Marks) & Oral Test (50 Marks)
2. In the event of the number of cligible candidates exceeds fifty, the selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Test (200 Marks) & Oral Test (30 Marks).
(i) The written examination shall consist of two papers and each paper shall carry 100 marks. The questions shall be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ pattern).
(ii) One-fourth marks assigned to that question shall be deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question.
(iii)The duration of cach examination shall be for two hours and minimum pass mark in cach paper shall be 50 marks in order to be eligible for appearing in the oral test.
(iv) The standards of examination shall be cquivalent to the degree examination of a University of the State.

2. The link for registration/re-registration and submission of Registered Online Application shall be available from 22.04.2022 to 23.05.2022 (Note: 23.05,2022 is the last date for submission of Online Application)
3. Candidates must go through the details of this Advertisement available in the Website of OPSC before filling up online application form.
4. Candidates must apply online through the concerned Website of the OPSC http://opsc.gov.in
5. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
6. Before filling up the online application form, the candidates must go through detailed instructions available at OPSC portal.
7. Candidates are requested to upload the scanned image of latest passport size photograph along with scanned image of his/her full signature and scanned image of Left-had Thumb Impression (LTI) in the online application form uploaded photograph, Specimen (full) signature and LTI must be clearly identifiable/visible, otherwise the application of the candidate is liable to be rejected by the Commission and no representation from the candidate will be entertained.
8. Candidates should keep at least two copies of latest passport size photograph which is uploaded to the online application form for future use
9. On successful submission of the online Registration, a unique "Permanent Public Service Account Number (PPSAN)'" will be assigned to the applicant.
10. Candidates are required to take a printout of the finally submitted online Registration/Re-registration and finally submitted Online Application forms and put his/her signature under the declaration for submission to OPSC along with copies of requisite certificate and documents as and when asked.
11. The candidates are advised to submit the Online Application Form well in advance without waiting for the closing date to avoid last hour rush.
