Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

  • Essential Qualification: Master degree in Remote Sensing and GIS / Geoinformatics / any discipline of Agriculture / Computer Science with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. OR M.Tech. in Computer Application / Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Software Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Information Technology with from recognize university with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. OR Post-graduate degree in Environmental Science / Geography with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years masters' degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience. OR B.Sc. (Ag.) having four years graduation degree followed by M.Sc. in any discipline. OR Ph.D. in any discipline of science.
  • Age Limit: Max. 35 years for men and 40 years for women.

Eligibility for Young Professional-II (YP-II)

  • Essential Qualification: Master degree in Remote Sensing and GIS / Geoinformatics / Environmental Science/ Geography/any discipline of Agriculture OR M.Tech. in Computer Application/ Information Technology / Computer Science & Engineering / Software Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Information Technology from recognized university.
  • Age Limit: Min. 21 years & max. 45 years with relaxation as per rule.
