Invitation of online application for recruitment to the post of Nursing Officer-2022
Applications are invited online through the OSSSC website www.osssc.gov.in for recruitment to 4070 number of District Cadre posts of Nursing Officer in all 30 District establishments and 13 Medical College and Hospitals under Health & Family Welfare Department of Government of Odisha.
i. The district-wise, Medical College & Hospital-wise and category-wise break-up of the posts to be filled up by this recruitment and reservation for each category of candidates is at AThe recruitment is being conducted according to Odisha Nursing Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2019 and the Odisha Group-C and Group-D posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2013.

3. Scale of Pay and Pay matrix level: Pay Scale 29200-92300, Pay Matrix level-8, Cell-01
4. Monthly remuneration: Rs. 15,000/-
5. Eligibility:
a. passed the Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject;
b. or passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subjects;
c. or passed Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above from a School or Educational Institution recognised by the Government of Odisha or Central Government;
d. or Passed a test in Odia in M.E. School Standard conducted by the School& Mass Education Department.

Selection Procedure
1. The date of examination shall be advertised in the local newspaper and Commission's website for information of the candidates.
2. The written examination shall be held in all the districts, the date, time and venue of which will be intimated through admission letters to be issued online later.
3. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals and also keep track of different notices to be published by the Commission to know about the detail programme of the examination.
4. There shall be a Written Examination for 100 marks

3. The last date of receipt of online applications in response to this advertisement is dt.25.06.2022.

The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission was established in association with the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (Dist. Cadre) under the Rules-2012 Vide G.A Department Notification No.10069/Gen. on 30th April in the year 2012,that was documented in the Extraordinary Odisha Gazette that bears Notification No.961 in 14th May in the year 2013.The Government in General Administration Department have asked the Commission to conduct the recruitment examinations to district level Group-C Civil posts that controlls the 24 Departments of Government Vide Notification No. 4417/Gen dt.18.02.2013. The Commission was started from 1st November, 2012 is still working from its own building at Block No.3 & 5, Unit-I, Bhubaneswar from May 2013.
The Commission plans to maintain the same recruitment method to all Group-C Civil posts and Service that comes under the various district offices of Odisha Government The Commission tries hard to improve the quality of method of examinations, question setting, evaluation and declaration of results with a view to give quality people that can work at the grass-root level of the administration.
