Online Applications are invited from intending candidates to fill up vacancies against 54(Fifty-four) posts of Technical Assistant under Director of Textiles, Odisha, Bhubaneswar

3. Educational qualification prescribed for the post :
a) The candidate in order to be eligible for appearing in the selection examination for the post must have passed
b) HSC or Matriculation with a certificate of completion of training in PMF/ Handloom weaving & dyeing from the institute of Handloom weaving & Design, Khordha, Odisha
4. Salary: The appointment will be initially as Initial Appointee carrying a consolidated pay in the pay matrix of Level-7 of ORSP-17 amounting to Rs.13,300/- per month in the first year as per Govt. in G.A. & P.G. Department Notification No.28621/Gen dated 27.10.2021. The pay is subject to revision as per the decision of the Government of Odisha from time to time

Selection Procedure
1. There shall be two stages such as :
i) Main Written Examination
(ii) Certificate Verification
2. The merit list of the candidates who are found suitable in certificate verification shall be prepared based on their marks secured in the main written examination (CBRE). The Select list shall be published in order of merit, category wise equal to the number of vacancies advertised
How to Apply:

2. Online Payment of Examination Fees: 08.03.2022 to 07.04.2022
3. Submission of Online Application Form: 08.03.2022 to 20.04.2022
a. The applicants have to go through the Detail Advertisement before filling up the online application form.
b. Aspirants have to apply online using the official website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in.
c. All eligible candidates have to register themselves by clicking on "APPLY ONLINE" button in the Home page of the Commission's website www.ossc.gov.in.
d. Those candidates who are applying for the first time have to register for the post by clicking on "NEW USER" button shown on the screen. On submitting the registration form a User Id and Password will be generated.
e. On clicking "New user" or "Registered User" instruction for filling up the Online Registration/ Re-registration and Application Forms shall appear on the computer screen. These instructions are to be read carefully before proceeding for filling up the Application Form.
f. Step by step procedure for registration/re-registration can be viewed by clicking on "Instruction to fill up Online Application Form".

Orissa Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) was established in the year 1994 by Odisha Government as a statutory body for carrying out direct recruitment against Group C-Posts in the State. There are 85 different cadres of posts/ Services under various Department of Government which recruitment is made through the Commission. OSSC is responsible for applications of various examinations, issue of admit card to the candidates and also conducting interviews of applicants.
OSSC conducts exam for the posts of Junior Scale Stenographer, Enforcement Officer, Library Restorer, Laboratory Assistant, Forensic Lab attendant, etc.
