Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Citizenship: Must be of Indian origin residing in Delhi or NCR.
- Essential:
- Graduate from a recognized University.
- Diploma/Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu languages.
- Voice suited for broadcasting.
- Desirable:
- Diploma/Degree in Translation.
- 2 years experience in journalistic work (Radio/TV/Print).
- Basic Computer Applications knowledge.
- Note: Govt. employees must submit NOC.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
Selection is conducted in two stages in Delhi:
- Written Test (100 Marks, 3 Hours): Translation (Eng-Urdu/Urdu-Eng), Current Affairs, General Knowledge. All answers to be written in Urdu.
- Voice Test & Interview (100 Marks): Candidates scoring 50+ in Written Test are called. Voice test evaluates quality, modulation, diction, and accent followed by an interview.
No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the Written Test or Voice Test.

- Prescribed Proforma only (CAPITAL LETTERS).
- Self-attested copies of Educational Certificates.
- Bank Draft (payable to PB:DG (News), NSD, AIR, New Delhi) or UTR details.
- NOC for Govt. employees.
