WAMUL Invites Application for 6 Assistant-I Recruitment 2021

1. Post Name: Assistant-I (Dairy)

2. No of Post: 06

3. Qualification: Minimum ITI pass in Refrigeration trade/ Electrical trade/ Fitter trade

4. Experience:

2-3 year’s work experience preferably in ammonia-based refrigeration system/2-3 year’s work experience in dairy or food industries or any processing related industries. Freshers having qualification in relevant field may also apply.

5. Job Location: WAMUL Office in Guwahati, Assam

6. Salary: Gross CTC Rs.3.3 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions. (Negotiable and commensurate with qualification & experience)

7. Main Responsibilities:

i. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems (to provide a continuous supply of heat, steam, cooling, electrical, power, gas, or air required for operations).

ii. Complete work orders in a timely manner maintaining high quality standards, maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.

iii. Assemble fittings, valves, bowls, plates, disks, impeller shaft, and other parts to equipment with tools etc. to prepare for operation in relevant section.

iv. Perform work duties in accordance with WAMUL’s standard policies and procedures.

v. Follow/maintain safety norms.

8. Skills/ Attributes: Technical: 

a) Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably food and dairy industry.

b) Technical Experience: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and HVAC/ Refrigeration System.

c) Must be able to work in a wet environment with moderate to high noise volume. 

d) Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekendsand holidays.

e) Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
