Rajasthan Police is the state law enforcement agency that serves the entire state of Rajasthan, India. Formed in January 1951 following the integration of various princely state forces, the Rajasthan Police operates under the Home Department of the Government of Rajasthan, with its headquarters located in Jaipur With over 97,000 personnel as of 2024, the force is led by Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma (IPS). Its official motto, "Sevarth Katibaddhata" (“Committed to Serve”), reflects its mission of maintaining public safety, order, and enforcement of law across the state’s 342,239 km area.
