Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)
1. Educational Qualification
- Qualifications for faculties shall be prescribed by UGC (University Grants Commission) guidelines.
- For Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty): M.Phil./Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject is preferred.
- Candidates without Ph.D. qualification are eligible for specific engagement levels (subject to UGC rules), but the honorarium differs (see Salary section).
2. Age Limit
- The engaged retired faculties may continue teaching until they attain 70 years of age.

Selection Process & Structure

Salary / Honorarium
Selected candidates will receive a monthly honorarium based on their qualifications and the nature of engagement:
- Guest Faculty / Retired Asst. Professors with Ph.D Degree: Engaged for PG courses against the post of Assistant Professor.
Rate: Rs. 1,000/- per class (Max 60 classes/month)
Maximum Salary: Rs. 60,000/- - Guest Faculty / Retired Asst. Professors (Without Ph.D Degree): Engaged for UG/PG courses.
Rate: Rs. 750/- per class (Max 60 classes/month)
Maximum Salary: Rs. 45,000/-
