Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)
1. Educational Qualification
Common Requirements for All Posts:
- Post Graduate in Hospitality/Tourism or MBA from a recognized University/Institute.
- Plus: Full Time Degree or Full Time 3-Year Diploma in Hotel Administration/Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (or equivalent grade).
- Recognized Institutes: NCHMCT/AICTE approved/State Board of Technical Education/UGC recognized University/Deemed University/AIU recognized foreign degree.
Specific Requirements per Post:
- Sr. Lecturer (Post 01):
- Experience: Minimum 10 years experience (Teaching + Industry) including 3 years as Lecturer OR 3 years supervisory experience in 3-star/Heritage hotel + 3 years teaching.
- Desirable: Ph.D degree, Research papers.
- Lecturer (Post 02):
- Experience: Minimum 5 years teaching experience as Asst. Lecturer (UG level) OR 7 years total experience (3 years teaching/training in 3-star/Heritage hotel).
- Desirable: Ph.D degree.
- Asst. Lecturer (Post 03):
- Category A (PG): Must have qualified NHTET (National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test) conducted by NCHMCT.
- Category B (UG): Bachelor's Degree (55% marks) + 2 years industry experience + Qualified NHTET.
- Exemption: Candidates with Ph.D. in Hospitality subjects from a recognized University are exempted from NHTET.
2. Mandatory Requirements
- NHTET: Mandatory for Asst. Lecturer (unless Ph.D. holder).
- Hard Copy Submission: Candidates must send a hard copy of the application with self-attested documents to the institute.
Selection Process
This is a Direct Recruitment process. The selection methodology varies by post:
- Sr. Lecturer: Personal Interview / Teaching Skill Test.
