Sainik School Goalpara was established on 12th November 1964. Sainik School Goalpara, Assam was under the Ministry of Defence. It is a fully residential school having classes from standard 6th to 12th. Admission to the school is done for two standards - 6th and 9th. The aim of the school is to prepare students for the National Defence Academy exam.
