Age Limit (as on 12 November 2026): Minimum 18 years and maximum 50 years for all posts except PGT and TGT posts, which require minimum 21 years and maximum 50 years. Age relaxation for reserved categories as per Government of India norms.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Only Indian citizens meeting the post-specific educational and experience requirements are eligible. Below is the qualification detail for each advertised post:

Quarter Master (Regular – 1 Vacancy)

• B.A. or B.Com. degree from a recognized university.
• At least five years of experience as UDC (Stores) or as Quarter Master.
• Or an Ex-Serviceman, preferably a JCO (Junior Commissioned Officer) with at least 10 years of experience in handling and accounting of stores.

PGT – Physics (Contractual – 1 Vacancy)

• Integrated Post-Graduate Course from an NCTE-recognized university in Physics with at least 50% marks in aggregate including B.Ed component; OR
• Master's Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in Physics or a specialization therein, provided the candidate also studied Physics at the Graduation level.
• B.Ed. Degree from a NCTE-recognized institution/university with at least 50% marks. Alternatively, 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed or 4-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks.

TGT – Mathematics (Contractual – 1 Vacancy)

• Four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognized university with at least 50% marks in Mathematics and aggregate including B.Ed component; OR
• Bachelor's / Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in Mathematics as a subject, combination of subjects and aggregate.
• B.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks (or 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed, 1-year B.Ed Special Education from RCI, or Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks plus 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed).
• Subject combination requirement: Mathematics as elective/main subject for at least 3 years / 6 semesters; Physics for at least 1 year / 2 semesters; one subject out of Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics for at least 1 year / 2 semesters.
• Candidates holding B.Sc (Hons) in Physics or Chemistry are NOT eligible for this post.
• Must have qualified CTET or STET.

TGT – Social Science (Contractual – 1 Vacancy)

• Four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and aggregate including B.Ed component; OR
• Bachelor's / Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject, combination and aggregate.
• B.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks (or 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed, 1-year B.Ed Special Education from RCI, or Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks plus 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed).
• Subject combination requirement: Must have studied any two subjects out of History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science during graduation, of which one must be History or Geography studied for at least 3 years / 6 semesters, and the second subject for at least 1 year / 2 semesters.
• Must have qualified CTET or STET.

Band Master (Contractual – 1 Vacancy)

• Potential Band Master / Band Major / Drum Major Course at the AEC Training College and Centre, Pachmarhi; OR equivalent courses in the Naval or Air Force.

PTI Cum Matron – Female (Contractual – 1 Vacancy)

• Recognized Diploma in Physical Education.
• Ability to speak and understand Assamese, Hindi, and English.

Mess Manager (Contractual – 1 Vacancy)

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Diploma or Degree in Catering from a recognized institution.
• At least five years of experience of running a catering organization independently in civil, Defence Services, or a similar organization.
• Ability to maintain Mess accounts.
• Knowledge of Computers.

LDC – Lower Division Clerk (Contractual – 1 Vacancy)

• Matriculation from any recognized Board.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.

Ward Boy (Contractual – 2 Vacancies)

• Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
• Able to converse fluently in English.

Office Superintendent (Contractual – 1 Vacancy)

• Graduate with at least 5 years of office experience on a supervisory post in a Government or commercial establishment; OR 7 years of experience as UDC or equivalent in the school.
• Ability to correspond independently in English.
• Condition of Graduate is waived for Ex-Serviceman JCOs in clerical cadre and Ex-Defence Service Officers.

System Administrator – IT Hardware & Networking (Contractual – 1 Vacancy)

• Bachelor's Degree in B.Sc. Computer Science / IT / Information Systems; OR BCA; OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electronics & Communication Engineering; OR
• 3-year Diploma in Computer Science / IT / Computer Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering; OR
• Class-XII pass with One-Year Diploma in Computer Hardware & Networking from ITI / Government-recognized institution.

Horse Riding Instructor (Contractual – 1 Vacancy)

• Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized Board.
• Knowledge of Horse Riding / Risaldar Course qualified.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection for all posts under SSG/03/2026 will be conducted in the following stages:

Written Test Pattern: The written examination will be of one-hour duration and will cover General Knowledge, General English, Basic Mathematics, and a Subject Test of appropriate level for the post applied for.

Intimation: Date of Written Test and Interview will be communicated through the registered e-mail address provided by the candidate in the application form. No separate postal call letter will be sent.

TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the Written Test, Skill Test, Class Demonstration, or Interview.
