3. Essential Educational Qualifications: Good academic record with at least 60% marks at the Master’s Degree in Management/ Agriculture and allied sciences/ Economics/ Finance/engineering

4. Essential Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 3 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. Must possess good observatory, analytical and supervisory skills and think of unique and creative strategies for development which enhances a country’s economy.

5. Desirable qualifications: Knowledge of Hindi, English and Gujarati languages (local language) and understanding of the culture and traditions of India. Working experience in startup projects of similar nature. Balanced approach towards dealing with people with diverse background. Strong command in computing, word- processing and internet skills. Recognition/ award from reputed institute. Agriculture/entrepreneurship/incubation related exposure in India or abroad.

6. Job profile: Guidance for developing effective scientific strategies for cheap and easy farming techniques and animal husbandry, and educating those incubates under RBIC at SDAU. Nurturing the strategies for smart farming using technology, organic farming and preservation techniques. Must have good communication skills both oral and written along with team management skills. Able to derive practical, logical and eco and public friendly solutions to tackle agro related problems. Updated knowledge of existing and new technology and have the ability to handle them and apply them in their field. Must have good knowledge and should be friendly with all laboratory techniques related to the field. Requires a high degree of patience, interest, hard work and some basic business knowledge.
