Applications are invited for the post of JRF in Science &Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded project- SPG/2021/001 590 with following details: 1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 2. No. of Post: 01 3. Project Title: Design. vitual fabrication and characterization of floating gate ficld efiect transistor based toxic gas sensor for industrial applications 4. Principal Investigator: Dr. Sneha Kabra, Associate Prolfessor, Department of Instrumentation, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women (University of Delhi), Vasundhara Enclave, Delhi-110096 5. Salary: Rs.31,000 (Rupees Thirty one thousand only) 6. Duration of Fellowship: Three years (Co-terminus with Project) 7. Essential Qualifications: M.Sc in Electronics/ Bioelectronics/ Instrumentation/ Physics/ Applied Physies or allied subjects. OR M.Tech in Electronics/ Biomedical Engineering/ Applied Physics/ Nano Science and Technology/ VLSI Design/ Instrumentation or allied subjects. Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates 8. Registration for Ph.D: Selected candidate may apply for the full time Ph.D. programme at University of Delhi after fulfilling minimum qualifications and other eligibility conditions prescribed by the University of Delhi.

Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, a constituent college under University of Delhi and funded by Govt. of NCT of Delhi, was established in the year 1989. The College offers undergraduate programmes namely B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Food Technology, Instrumentation, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics, Bachelor of Business Administration (FIA), Bachelor of Management Studies and B.A. (Hons.) Psychology. These programmes provide the platform where the students are equipped with essential and practical knowledge to face the challenging positions worldwide country.
The college has well-qualified and competent faculty. An important aspect of teaching process is the ability to learn, unlearn and relearn. The teaching philosophy in the college is that the difference between the teacher and the taught has to be dissolved as the teacher and the taught are part of one process. The college has efficient support staff responsible for the smooth functioning of various laboratories and administrative work in the college.
