Educational Qualification: Candidate Should have Diploma/Certificate on Auxiliary Nurse & Midwifery.
Pay Scale:
INR
Level-5 Per Month
Age Limit: 21-30 Years.
Application Fee: Rs. 300/-.
Selection Procedure: The mode of selection will be written and a skill test. The test will be in English only. Skill tests will be of qualifying nature only. There will be no interview. The date, Time & Venue for the Written test will be intimated on the website/portal and through the post in due course of time. Candidates are required to visit the website/portal regularly to check time schedule for the written test.

The prescribed application format is to be downloaded from the office website i.e http://shillong.cantt.gov.in/recruitment. Applications complete in all respect will only be accepted and the same should be sent through registered/speed post only. No application shall be submitted by hand. Documents are to be attached to the application form.
a) Proof of date of birth
b) mark sheet of essential education qualification
c). 2 Self-addressed Envelope duly affixed with postal stamp with acknowledgment card.
d) Photocopy of the caste certificate
e) Experience Certificate, if any.
f) In case of Ex-servicemen:- Discharge certification form service, service copy of Pension PPO, and copy of Ex-Servicemen Identity Card

The Shillong Cantonment was established in the year 1885. Shillong is a Capital city of Meghalaya. It is a beautiful Hill station at an average altitude of 1520 meters (4990 ft.) above sea level. Shillong town was established during the year 1864 by the British Government. An earthquake destroyed the city in 1897 and was rebuilt again.
The romantic city of Shillong has been one of the important tourist place of North East of India and often referred to as the Scotland of the East, due to striking similarity with the Scottish highlands. Physical geography of Shillong is known as its ever green panorama and cold to moderate climate. Shillong is reached after a picturesque drive of 104 Kms. by road from Gauhati & 128 kms from Gauhati airport.
Shillong Cantonment is surrounded by Municipal area and lands & markets belonging to Syiem of Mylliem. National Highway-40 passes through the Cantonment. There is a direct exit from Shillong to Cherrapunji which is located at a distance of about 65 Kms.
