2. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential: Master’s Degree OR Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
Experience Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least 12 years of experience in the execution or construction of civil works, specifically including hill roads.
Service Eligibility (Deputation)

One of the Following Service Conditions is Required:

3. Job Requirements
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Adviser (Transport & Communication), NEC in all matters pertaining to the Transport and Communication Sector.
- Handling Road and Bridge schemes/projects undertaken by the Transport and Communication sector.
- Providing necessary inputs to the Adviser so that he can advise the Secretary, NEC.
- Scrutinizing, preparing plans, and estimating release of funds for schemes proposed by State Governments/NEC.
- Representing NEC in Boards or Meetings pertaining to this area of work.
