Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Masterโs Degree in one of the following subjects from a recognized University:
- Statistics
- Operations Research
- Mathematics
- Economics (with Statistics)
- Commerce (with Statistics)
2. Experience Required
- Three years of experience in the collection, compilation, analysis, and interpretation of statistical data.
3. Deputation Eligibility
Candidates must be officers from Central/State Government or Union Territories:
- Hold an analogous post on a regular basis; OR
- Have 5 years of service in the grade rendered after regular appointment in the scale of pay Rs. 6500-10,500 (5th CPC) / Rs. 9,300-34,800 + GP Rs. 4600 (6th CPC) (Level 7 of 7th CPC).
4. Age Limit & Relaxation
- Maximum Age: 56 years.
- Age Cut-off Date: Age is calculated as of the closing date of receipt of applications (11th April 2026).
- Period of Deputation: Ordinarily not exceeding 3 years.
