Advertisement for different positions available in Koshish-TISS Field Action Project 1. Project’s Requirements: i. The organization functions on the ideals of trust, justice and commitment. The work involves working directly with the homeless citizens that we work with, including the ones in custodial institutions and mental health institutions. Koshish is committed to working on these clients’ end to end rehabilitation. ii. Selected candidates would be working directly with extremely vulnerable sections of the society. Selected candidates require to have an aptitude to work with the systems, especially the institutional setting. 2. Name of the position: Community Mobilizer 3. Position Code: 03 4. Location of position: Nagpur 5. Number of vacancies: 01 6. Qualification required: Para Professional/ 12th pass. Prior work experience with community-based projects. 7. Remuneration: Rs 26,620 per month 8. Eligibility criteria: a. M.A in social work or social sciences, (for position code 01 and 02) An M.Phil. is desired but not mandatory. b. 2+ years’ experience of research in development sector for position code 01. c. Willingness & commitment to learn the legal aspects of Beggary and homelessness in India. d. For position code 01 and 02, candidate should be well versed with English and Hindi. Knowledge of Marathi would be preferred. For position code 03, English is not a requirement but Marathi and Hindi are essential. e. Strong reporting and documentation skills are essential for position code 01 and 02. f. Ability to be flexible with work timing and resourceful during high stress periods. g. Confidence and leadership abilities to work independently. h. Women, transgenders and candidates from SC/ST/Dalit communities are encouraged to apply
