Applications are invited for an online interview to be held at 10.00 a.m. on 11/02/2022 in the Department of Energy, Tezpur University, Napaam, Assam for the temporary positions of two (02) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and one (01) Research Associate (RA) in the SERB-IMPRINT, Govt. of India sponsored project “Multi-crop Residue Processing Technology Package for Production of Fuel and Fertilizer" under the Principal Investigator Prof. Debendra Chandra Baruah, Department of Energy, Tezpur University.

3. Essential Qualification:Post Graduate degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Zoology / Bioenergy / Environmental Sciences / Chemistry/ Electronics / Energy / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering
4. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month. Likely to be enhanced up to Rs 35,000/- after completion of two years if qualified for SRF as per SERB norms
5. Desirable: Working experience in the areas of Bioenergy/Sensor/Design of Reactor will be preferred.
6. Duration: Initially duration of appointment will be for Six (06) months with a provision of further extension till the completion of the project (December 2022) or until further order, whichever is earlier.

31000 - 35000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the last date of receipt of application.
Selection Procedure
Only short-listed candidates will be called for personal interview (by email). Shortlisted candidates may appear before the interview board with all the original documents through video conferencing. Original documents will be verified by the Selection Committee.
