ONGC Tripura Recruitment 2026: Walk-in-Interview for Consultants

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Tripura Asset has released an official notification (Advt. No. 01/2026) inviting applications from eligible retired government officers for engagement as Associate Consultant and Junior Consultant on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced retired Revenue, Forest, and Survey officials to continue their service in a prestigious public sector undertaking.

Engagement is strictly temporary and on a contract basis until 28.02.2030 or until the age of 68 years, whichever is earlier. The recruitment process involves a Walk-in-Interview.

The vacancies are available for the following posts for retired officers/officials from Tripura Government services:

Note on Pay Structure: The amount includes conveyance, office-at-residence, and communication reimbursements. 20% of the honorarium is variable, payable after performance assessment at the end of the engagement period.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification & Experience

• Associate Consultant (TCS Officer): Graduate in any discipline + Minimum 3 years experience as TCS Officer Grade-1/Grade-2 in the Revenue Department, Govt. of Tripura. Mandatory: Computer knowledge.
• Junior Consultant (Forest Official): Graduate in any discipline + Minimum 3 years experience as Forest Ranger under Tripura State Govt. Mandatory: Computer knowledge.
• Junior Consultant (Surveyor/Amin): 10th Pass / Madhyamik / ITI / Diploma + Minimum 3 years experience as Surveyor, Amin, RI, or Tehsildar in the Directorate of Land Records and Settlement, Govt. of Tripura. Desirable: Computer knowledge.

2. Age Limit

Upper age limit for all posts is Up to 68 years. Since this is a recruitment for retired officials, no specific "Age as on" date is provided, but incumbents must be in reasonably good health.

3. Language & Other Requirements

• Language: Sufficient knowledge of local language (Bengali) and English is required.
• Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must be medically fit to perform extensive field duties, certified by I/c Medical Services ONGC, Tripura Asset.
• Health: Candidates should be in reasonably good health as the job involves extensive field visits.

Selection Process

There is no written examination. Selection will be based on the following criteria:

1. Walk-in-Interview
2. Assessment of relevant work experience and expertise.
3. Knowledge of local language.
4. Communication skills.
5. Health and fitness.

Terms and Conditions

• Contract Period: Until 28.02.2030 or attaining 68 years of age (whichever is earlier). Renewal is yearly based on performance.
• Posting: Candidates must be willing to work anywhere in Tripura.
• Regular Employment: Engagement is purely temporary/contractual. No claim for regular appointment will be entertained.
• Leave: Leave will be strictly as per ONGC Tripura Asset's annual leave calendar.
• Taxes: All remuneration is inclusive of GST. The individual official must bear any liability towards GST.
• Termination: One month's notice period required from either side.

1. Venue: OOMS Hall, Near Officers Club, ONGC South Colony, Badharghat, Agartala, Tripura-799014.
2. Date: 19.02.2026 (Thursday).
3. Registration Time: 09:00 hrs to 11:00 hrs (Registration closes sharply at 11:00 hrs).
4. Documents to Bring:
   • Experience Certificate.
   • Service Discharge Certificate.
   • Proof of Date of Birth.
   • Educational Qualification certificates (Original + 2 sets of Photocopies).
   • Filled Application Form (Annexure-I) with recent passport size photo.
5. Fee: No fee mentioned, but No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
