Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Educational Qualification: Graduate degree from a recognised University/Institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies. The graduation mark sheets and provisional/final degree certificate must have been issued on or after 1 April 2022.
- Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 1 October 2026 (with relaxation for reserved categories as per rules).
- Nationality: Citizen of India, or subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1962, or person of Indian origin from specified countries with eligibility certificate.
- Other Conditions:
- Must not have undergone or be currently undergoing apprenticeship with UCO Bank or any other organisation.
- Candidates with one year or more experience after educational qualification are not eligible.
- Must be proficient in the local language of the chosen State/UT (test during document verification).
- Can apply for only one State/UT.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Selection is through an online objective test conducted by BFSI SSC.
- Followed by a local language test during document verification and a medical fitness check.
- The online test consists of 100 questions (25 each in General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude) for 100 marks, duration 60 minutes.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 40 for General/EWS and 35 for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD.
- Merit list is prepared State-wise and category-wise.
- No TA/DA will be paid for document verification or any other process.

- Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
- All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications)
- Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable)

Important Instructions:
- Candidates must have a valid personal email ID and mobile number, kept active until the engagement process is complete.

- OBC candidates need a non-creamy layer certificate issued on or after 1 April 2026; EWS candidates need an Income and Asset Certificate valid for FY 2026-27; PwBD candidates need a disability certificate.
- Apprentices are trainees, not employees; PF, ESI, bonus and other labour-law provisions do not apply.
- Candidates must execute a Contract of Apprenticeship before training begins.
- Travel costs for document verification are borne by the candidate.
- Canvassing in any form is a disqualification.
- All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Courts at Kolkata.
