University of Hyderabad Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 3 Posts
The Centre for Comparative Literature, School of Humanities at the University of Hyderabad has announced a recruitment drive for Guest Faculty positions. This is a temporary appointment for the academic session January-May 2026. Interested candidates with the required qualifications and NET/Ph.D can apply via email before the deadline.

Guest Faculty would be paid an honorarium of Rs. 1,500/- (Rs. One Thousand and Five Hundred only) per lecture basis subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. Fifty Thousand only) per month for teaching two full courses in accordance with the revised UGC 2019 guidelines for Guest Faculty.
As per F&A rules, 10% or 20%, respectively for those with and without PAN, may be deducted towards income tax, unless a certificate exemption from a competent authority is submitted.
Interested Indian Nationals should email the Application Form on or before 13.01.2026 (Tuesday) by 3.00pm to [email protected]. CV and all the scanned original documents required for verification should be attached with the application.
Important Notes:
1. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
2. The University reserves the right not to fill any of the above positions.
3. The courses to be taught will be as per the revised MA & Ph. D syllabus.
4. Appointments (during January - May 2026) would be temporary in nature.
5. If there are no eligible candidates in a category, other category applicants may be considered.
6. Selected candidates should be prepared to join with immediate effect.
7. Those who have already applied as per the previous notification dated 23.12.2025, need not re-apply, unless to submit updated applications.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview by email and WhatsApp. Interview will be held online.
