A walk-in-interview will be held at College of Agriculture, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Majhian, P.O. Patiram, Dist. Dakshin Dinajpur-733133 on 30 December 2021 for casual engagement in following positions on purely temporary basis for the Regional Research Sub Station, Old Alluvial Zone, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, P.O. Mathurapur, Manikchak, Malda, PIN-732203:

3. Qualification: Class VIll passed. Working experience in a Store/Office/ Farm.
4. Monthly remuneration (Rs.) Rs. 9,000/ (Consolidated)
5. Candidates having any working experience in this University and are acquainted with this University system shall get preference.
6. Desirable: Candidates having residential address within 20 km. of the place of engagement shall get preference.
7. Period of engagement: Up to August, 2022. However, the temporary engagement may be renewed further on the basis of performance.

Selection Procedure
In the event of attendance of large number of candidates, short listing may be considered adopting any kind of criteria.

Pundibari, Dist. Cooch Behar, PIN-736165. No T.A/D.A is admissible for appearing the interview.
2. The University reserves the right not to select any candidate for the engagement. It is clearly stated that this engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and may be terminated at any stage by the decision of the University.
3. The University shall not be held responsible if the interview is postponed due to some unavoidable circumstances.

The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya with its headquarter at Pundibari (Coochbehar) started functioning on and from 1st February, 2001 for the development of agriculture and for the furtherance of the advancement of agricultural education, prosecution of agricultural research and extension in the eight northern districts of West Bengal. The University took birth through bifurcation from the Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya. The University has three degree programmes covering Agriculture, Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering disciplines along with the post graduate programmes in every discipline of Agriculture and Horticulture Faculties. The implementation of IVth Deans’ Committee Recommendation in case of rules, regulations and syllabi in UG & PG is overwhelming and praiseworthy. The Vth Deans’ Committee Recommendation for degree courses has been started from the academic year 2016-17. The University is fostering collaboration with Indian and foreign individuals and organizations for the purposes of better teaching and research prospects.
