Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF) & Young Professional-II:
  • Master's degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding or Plant Pathology from a recognized university.
  • Desirable: Experience in field experiments/molecular techniques, computer knowledge, data analysis, scientific writing.
• Field Assistant:
  • Graduate or Diploma holder in an Agricultural subject.
  • Desirable: Experience in field work and technical skills in data handling.
• Computer Operator:
  • Higher Secondary (10+2) or Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with a certified computer course.
  • Typing speed proficiency in English and Marathi required.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, internet navigation, and basic hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years, maximum 45 years (for SRF and YP-II). Age is calculated as on the interview date.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection is based on a Walk-in Interview conducted by a Selection Committee.
• If a large number of applications are received, candidates will be shortlisted based on academic merit and experience.
• Only shortlisted candidates in a ratio of 1:5 will be called for the interview.
• No separate call letters will be issued.
• Reporting time is 10:30 AM; candidates arriving after 11:00 AM will be treated as absent.
• NO TA/DA or other allowances will be paid for attending the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Completed Annexure-I application form with photo pasted.
• Self-attested copies of all educational certificates (10th onwards).
• Date of Birth proof and Experience certificates.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) if currently employed.
• Annexure-II declaration (must be sent by post before the interview if relatives work at ICAR/IARI).
• Hard copy of application, self-attested documents, and originals to be carried to the interview venue.
