Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Applications are invited from eligible officers for deputation. The selection criteria are as follows:

• Primary Eligibility: Officers of Major Port Authorities holding analogous posts.
• Alternative Eligibility: Officers holding posts in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000-1,60,000/- (pre-revised scale Rs. 20,600-46,500 / 10,750-16,750) with 3 years of regular service in the grade in Major Port Authorities.
• Failing Above: Officers of the Central Government, State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies with a similar grade.
• Age Limit: The maximum age for consideration shall be 56 years as on the last date of receipt of application (23.11.2026) in terms of DoPT OM dated 05.02.2018.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection will be based on merit. Candidates must ensure their overall grading in the Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) is not below "Very Good".
