Skills / Eligibility
Candidates are invited for appearing in Online Walk-in-Interview for the following posts under the DST sponsored project “Community water supply scheme based on Integrated Rainwater harvesting and Solar PV water pumping system” vide Sanction Order No. TMD(EWO)/ITISE-2020/08 dated 24.09.2021”, sanctioned up to two years. The post is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project. 1. Name of the post: Project Associate- I 2. Number of posts: 1 (One) 3. Qualification: Post-Graduate degree in Rural Management/Rural Development/Rural Studies with minimum 55% marks along with at least one-year experience in the field of rural development/alternative energy/extension & field outreach activities in rural areas 4. Pay and allowances: 31,000/-+ 8% HRA 5. Candidates trained in computer applications will be given preference. Reservations will be provided as per the Government of India rules.

The interview will be held online mode. All eligible candidates will be provided with a link on 10/01/2022 , so that they can join to online interviewon 11.01.2022.

Founded by the first non-European Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Thākur(popularly known as Tagore) in 1921, Visva-Bharati was declared to be a central university and an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament in 1951. The President of India is the Paridarsaka (Visitor) of the University, the Governor of West Bengal is the Pradhana (Rector), and the Prime Minister of India acts as the Acharya (Chancellor). The President of India appoints the Upacharya (Vice-chancellor) of the University.
In May 1951, Visva-Bharati was declared to be a Central University and "An Institution of National Importance" by an Act of Parliament. It was granted the status of a unitary, teaching, and residential university. The status and function of all the major institutions have been redefined in successive Amendments.
