VIT University Invites Application for Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2022

1. Post Name : Senior Research Fellow

2.Title of Project:  “Design, development, and surface engineering of additively manufactured low modulus coaxial porous Ti-6Al-4V GYVO (Gyroid and Voronoi) structures for orthopedic application".

3. Qualification: M.Tech. / M.E. / M.S.  in Bioengineering / Biotechnology / Materials science & Engineering / Nanotechnology / Nanobiotechnology/ Medical Nanotechnology/Biomedical Engineering with two years of research experience.

4. Desirable (if any):

a) Previous experience in designing and developing porous structures with hands-on skill in in-vitro and in-vivo testing of implants.

b) The candidate must possess sound knowledge of general and advanced material characterization techniques

c) Must have worked with surface engineering techniques of orthopedic alloy

d) In-depth knowledge about cell-material interaction

e) Excellent command of English and professional communication skills.

5. Stipend: Rs. 35,000/- per month (for two years) with 8% HRA.

6. Sponsoring Agency: Tata Steel Advanced Material Research Centre (TSAMRC)

7. Duration: 2 Years
