IIT Patna Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): M Tech/MSc/ME/ B Tech-M Tech Dual degree in Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Soils and Foundation Engineering with more than 2 years of experience in relevant areas; OR B. Tech. in Civil Engineering with 5 years experience and minimum CPI 6.5 or 60% marks.
• Project Assistant (PA): B.Sc. or equivalent / 3-Year Diploma in Engineering & Technology with minimum CPI 6.5 or 60% marks.

Age Limit

Maximum 35 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD.

Salary / Stipend

• SRF: Rs. 41,000/- pm + HRA
• PA: Rs. 20,000/- pm + HRA
