Vellore Institute of Technology Invites Application for Project Associate Recruitment 2021

Applications are invited for the Post of Project Associate for the DST-SERB Funded Project in department of Chemistry, School of Advanced Sciences (SAS), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).

1. Name of the Post: Project Associate - DST SERB Funded Project

2. Title of the Project :“Examining Biomolecular Adsorption Models at Interfaces Utilizing Dynamic Light Scattering Experiments in Solution”

3. Qualification :MSc Physical Chemistry (Preferred)/ General Chemistry

4. Desirable (if any) :Candidates having adequate knowledge and experience in nanoparticle synthesis, characterization techniques will be preferred. Knowledge of technical writing will be preferred. Candidates having NET-LS will be preferred.

5. Stipend :Rs. 25000 + Rs. 2000 HRA/ per month (for two years)

6. Sponsoring Agency :DST- SERB-SRG, Government of India.

7. Duration :2 years

Selection Procedure

1. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at a later date which will be intimated by email.

2. The selected candidate will be expected to join at the earliest.
