Educational Qualification: M.Sc, PG Diploma

The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for engagement of the following Project Personnel in the Project “Uttarakhand State Wildlife Population Estimation for the Himalayan Zone”purely on contractual basis for a period of 6 months (likely to be extended).

1. Post Name: Project Associate– I (02 positions)

2. Essential Qualification (EQ): M.Sc in Wildlife Science /Ecology/ Zoology/ Forestry and 3 months field research experience

3. Desirable Qualification (DQ): Experience in the Himalayan region, knowledge and experience on the use of wildlife techniques, data analysis, report writing

4. Work description:

Carryout field exercises as per the directions of the supervising faculty in close coordination with the forest department staff in the field sites. Assist in training activities, consultations, data analysis and report writing

5. Duration: 6 months (likely to be extended)

6. Location of Project sites: HQ and field sites in Uttarakhand

7. Emoluments: Rs 31,000/- month + HRA as admissible

1. Post Name: Project Associate– IDatabase Maintenance (01 position)

2. Essential Qualification (EQ): Post Graduate degree with Certificate or Diploma in Computer Education

3. Desirable Qualification (DQ): 3 months work experience

4. Work description: Data entry, database maintenance, retrieval, assistance in data curation, office assistance

5. Duration: 6 months (likely to be extended)

6. Location of Project sites: HQ and field sites in Uttarakhand

7. Emoluments: Rs 31,000/- month + HRA as admissible
