Eligibility Criteria for ICAR IISWC SRF and YP-I 2026

Educational Qualification

• Senior Research Fellow: Postgraduate degree in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering / Land and Water Resources Engineering / Irrigation and Drainage Engineering / Water Resources / Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System / Civil Engineering with specialization in Hydrology/Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering. Must have NET/GATE and 2 years research experience in RS & GIS, Hydrological modelling, or Soil & Water Conservation Engineering.
• Young Professional-I: B.Tech / Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering.

Age Limit

• SRF: 35 years for Men, 40 years for Women (age relaxation as per government rules).
• YP-I: 21 to 45 years. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC candidates.
