Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Ph.D. degree with First Class at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in relevant branch.
• At least two successful Ph.D. guided as supervisor/co-supervisor.
• Minimum 8 research publications in SCI/UGC/AICTE approved journals.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of teaching/research/industry experience, out of which at least 3 years as Professor or equivalent.
• For industry experience: managerial level equivalent to Professor with active participation in R&D, publications, patents, etc.

Deputation Requirements

• Must be a Professor in Central/State Government, PSUs, Government Universities/Institutions/Recognized Research Institutes.
• Analogous regular post or 15 years of regular service in prescribed pay scales as per AICTE norms.
• Period of Deputation: 3 years.

Age Limit

Maximum age: 55 years as on the date of advertisement (10 July 2026).

Salary Details

Pay Matrix Level-14, Entry Pay ₹1,44,200 per month + Special Allowance of ₹6,750 per month (as per AICTE). Last salary drawn from present employer will be protected.
