Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Steno/Typist: Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Law from a recognized University.
- Shorthand: Government Technical Examination passed with a speed of 120 w.p.m. in English Shorthand.
- Typewriting: Government Technical Examination passed in Higher Grade (45 w.p.m.) in English Typewriting.
- Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge or qualification in computer operation.
- Local Language: Adequate knowledge of the language(s) of the district.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST/BCs/EWS/Aboriginal Tribes: 5 years; Differently-abled: 10 years; Ex-Servicemen: As per Telangana Rules.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- OMR Based Written Examination (40 Marks): Duration 45 minutes (20 marks General Knowledge + 20 marks General English).
- Skill Test for Stenography (40 Marks): Dictation for 5 minutes in English at 120 w.p.m., transcription within 40 minutes.
- Oral Interview / Viva-voce (20 Marks): Final selection stage.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% for OC and EWS, 35% for Backward Classes, and 30% for SC and ST. Note: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the exam or interview.
