Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Junior Research Fellow
- Essential: 1st class Graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics and Computing, Statistics or related areas with NET/GATE qualification OR 1st class Post-graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics and Computing or related areas with NET/GATE.
- Desirable: Good knowledge of Algebra, Quantum Computing, and Cryptography.
- CFTI Relaxation: The requirement of NET/GATE examination may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
- SC/ST Marks Relaxation: An additional relaxation of 5% marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates as per prevailing IRD norms.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- IIT Delhi reserves the right to set higher shortlisting criteria beyond the advertised qualifications, based on the requirements of the project post.
- Shortlisted candidates' names will be displayed on the official IRD shortlisting page at IRD Shortlisting Portal along with online interview details.
