  • B.E./B.Tech. in Biotechnology/Industrial Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Biotech Engineering/Bioengineering/Biological Sciences and Bioengineering/Biosciences and Bioengineering/Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering/Biochemical and Biotechnology Engineering, and M.E./M.Tech./M.S.(by Research)/M.S.* (from abroad, two-year program only) in related fields.
  • OR M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Botany/Zoology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences and M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Environmental Engineering.

  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA at UG and PG for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL; minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD.
  • Candidates with Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with at least CGPA of 7.5/10 or 70% marks for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL, and CGPA of 7.0/10 or 65% for SC/ST/PwD are eligible.
